JOIN US AS AN EXHIBITOR AT THE 2024 BANANA FESTIVAL

Our team is seeking exhibitors showcasing unique arts and crafts, quality goods, delicious food offerings as well as service organizations/non-profits and retails merchants for 2024 Banana Festival held on location at the Port of Hueneme Saturday, September 28th, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Whether you are new to the Festival or are a returning exhibitor, we kindly ask that all interested vendors review the following information.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS

Complete our preliminary application. The Banana Festival Team will review and reply to your application by email with an acceptance or denial letter. If your business is selected you will receive a “Welcome To The Banana Festival” vendor packet attached in your email including our official Exhibitor Form, festival rules, festival insurance, permit information and procedures. EXHIBITOR SELECTION PROCESS:

  • Special consideration will be given to vendors showcasing Banana themed products and foods.
  • Hand-crafted items made by the applicant receive preference over “buy-and-sell” retail merchandise.
  • The Festival reserves the right to limit the number of vendors selling similar items or services.
  • In cases of duplication, local vendors whose completed applications were received by the deadline will get priority.
  • Vendors may only sell what the Festival has approved in advance during the application process.
  • Vendors will receive an email confirmation or denial no later than 48-72 hours after application completion.
  • A current photo of your booth set up showing your product selection must be included in the application.
  • Applications received after the August 30, 2024 deadline will be accepted ONLY at the discretion of the Banana Festival Team.

INFO FOR FOOD VENDOR APPLICANTS

  • You are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to include bananas in your menu items. Vendors that have bananas offerings will receive special consideration to exhibit.
  • The Banana Festival holds the exclusive rights to sell ALL BEVERAGES including carbonated soft drinks, bottled water, iced tea and bottled fruit juices,
    etc. Only a limited number of specialty beverage vendors will be permitted at Festival discretion.
  • Inspections and Permits–You and your employees must comply with all Health Department requirements during the event. Inspectors will issue your permit on the opening day of the Festival if Health Code requirements are met during the inspection. Food preparation cannot begin until the permit is issued.

FESTIVAL INSURANCE

  • All exhibitors participating in the Banana Festival are required to carry valid General Liability Insurance.
  • A Valid Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming the Port of Hueneme Banana Festival/Port of Hueneme (Oxnard Harbor District) as additional insured for Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm OR Insurance may be purchased through the Festival for $75 with a completed Festival Insurance Application included in the Vendor Packet.
